Prague to Dresden

It was a Sunday morning in Dresden, and we know that everything is closed on Sundays in Germany, so I said: "Why not go to Prague instead?" When we came there all shops were open and it was business as usual, only the St Vitus Cathedral of Prague closed at 17.00.

We saw that Prague had come a long way since 2001, when we first visited the city. The Palladium Shopping Center with more than 200 shops could easily compare itself favourably with for example Alexa in Berlin or Centro in Oberhausen when it comes to size and choice. There are more luxurious shops in Palladium than in its German counterparts, but it is fun to walk around in it and enjoy everything on offer.

We saw all the major landmarks, but it was the third time so they were pretty familiar. I like the atmosphere in Prague, so it is nice just to be in the city. We went back to Dresden via Hrensko, so that Lizette would be able to see it. She had wanted to see it for 7 years.
