Hanover and Hildesheim
Hanover, a big city with over half a million people, hosts CeBIT every year. This has been the reason for me visiting Hanover three times. It is an ordinary German city in my opinion, and the shopping is as good as in any other German city. We were only able to visit Hildesheim by night, and therefore those city pictures are dark. A few days ago I learnt that German hairdressers are underpaid. No wonder, as I came to think of my photo, that I took in Hanover... (picture 26). I took the opportunity to visit Herrenhausen Gardens, a castle garden in Hanover. The castle was bombed out in World War II, but picture number 2 does not show the castle, but something else. The number plate is belonging to the car I used when we were in Germany. The four last pictures show Hildesheim and the Youth hostel we stayed at.
