London October-November 2025
In the fall of 2025, we went to London. We drove down to Stockholm but had lunch at Dockstabaren at Docksta along the road. In London we stayed in Thistle Bloomsbury, which was a first. We enjoyed walking in parks, St James’s Park, Green Park, Kensington Gardens, and Greenwich Park with its Prime Meridian. We enjoyed basking in the sun, which can be seen from many of the pictures. As we live in the north of Sweden and there are more or less no flowers at this time of the year, we particularly loved seeing flowers in the parks.
I took part in the Sunday service in Westminster Abbey, which was very nice. Five Guys always have delicious hamburgers, and we had quite a few, but we also visited a Canadian Sports Bar in Covent Garden. Fortnum & Mason is world class shopping, and it is truly amazing being there.
We visited places like Westfield London, Westfield Stratford, Canary Wharf, Greenwich, and Richmond. In Kew Gardens we went to the Halloween at Kew, which was a trail with a lot of people and spooky things, making the whole experience memorable.
