| Oberammergau |
| Oberammergau has gone down in history for two things. One is that the people of the town, gather every ten years (next time 2020) and play theatre together as a way of saying thanks for not being exterminated by the plague 400 years ago. The other is that many townspeople have taken a fancy for painting their houses like paintings! In close vicinity of Oberammergau a castle of Ludwig II can be found, namely the castle of Linderhof. |
