Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of the few towns left in the world with a perfectly preserved city wall. The reason why the city wall is still there, is that the townspeople could not afford to demolish it, and start expanding their city. I suppose they are happy for it today! There are many half-timbered houses around, as well, and a few of them can be seen in the pictures below.
