| Der Fernsehturm -The TV-Tower |
| Der Fernsehturm (the TV-Tower), was finished in 1969, and was 365 metres tall. In 1996 the tower was renovated and made 3 metres higher, so today it is 368 metres. From the viewing platform at 203.78 metre one can see the whole of Berlin. Some metres above the platform there is a restaurant. If you by a table for an hour you are able to see something new, as the tower ball rotates. There are fantastic opening hours, even if it is relatively expensive to go up(€6,5 in March 2003 and the tower stays open until 1 a.m.) |
