Cambridge and London 2008 |
In June 2008 I had the opportunity to take part in a teacher development course in Cambridge. It was a course about the European Language Portfolio, and how to implement it in your own classes. We also received a language update and tips and tricks (warm-ups) for use by our own pupils. I also had the opoortunity to meet the best teacher I have ever accounted, Rebecca Hudson. I was there at the school from Monday 9 June to Friday 13 June. On Monday evening there was a city tour of Cambridge with guide, so I participated in it. Our guide was excellent and could answer all questions that arose. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I went to London in the evenings to walk, ride the tube and visit the fantastic shops in Piccadilly and in Oxford Street. On Wednesday we went punting on the river Cam in Cambridge. On Saturday I went to Nyköping (Stockholm Skavsta) and met Lizette so we could go by car to Germany. |
