We only visited two cities in Saxony: Zwickau and Chemnitz. We enjoyed seeing kangaroos and the big head of Karl Marx in the former Karl Marx City (today Chemnitz once again). Zwickau was okay, especially the bath Johannisbad. We were even allowed to use our camera there. Because of the problems getting accommodation in western Germany owing to the World Cup match between Sweden and England on 20 June 2006, we decided to visit Saxony while waiting for the match between Germany and Sweden in Munich on 24 June.
