| Frankfurt am Main is a money city - center for the European Central Bank. There are even scyscrapers around, which is pretty unusual in Germany. Often there are regulations that buildings must not be taller than the tallest church and so on... The city also has another name: Mainhattan, which is of course referring to Manhattan in New York and the scyscrapers over there. It is fun having been in Frankfurt and seen the Römerberg and the scyscrapers. |
