Zugspitze

Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany at 2,964 metres. It is easily accessible from the Austrian as well as the German side. We were driving between Füssen and Innsbrück when we saw signs saying Zugspitze. On the spur of the moment we turned left and went to the cableway in Ehrwald. The problem was that it was bad weather, but it was fascinating standing in a cloud.
