Hastings

Hastings is indeed a nice place. The sea is never far away and there are so much to see in the city. Hastings fame is, of course, based on the battle of 1066, even though it takes 10-15 minutes by train to reach the actual battlefield at the small town of Battle. The field is surrounded by a big wall, so that you have to pay an entrance fee in order to get in. The staff is very friendly.
