London Eye
London Eye is a relative newcomer among the great sights of London, as it was opened as recently as 2000. A big Ferris wheel dominates the southern bank, almost opposite Big Ben. According to those who know it is really not a Ferris wheel, but it sure looks like one. The fantastic thing about London Eye is that it dwarfs everything around it with its 140 metres, including the big clock and St Paul's Cathedral! Only five other buildings in London are taller than the Eye: three towers at Canary Wharf, Tower 42 and the Telecom Tower. Read more about London Eye.
