Malmberget is a part of the municipality of Gällivare and there are over 7 000 people there. The most famous attraction is of course the pit (=gropen). It eats the society away, when more ore is required, but these days they have started to fill it up again. In the vicinity the famous mountain Dundret can be found. According to those who know, you are able to see one eleventh of Sweden. You can also see the highest mountain in Sweden, Kebnekaise, from here. I have seen it myself.
