Sundsvall - Fantastic Shopping
Sundsvall is always a favourite spot for people from Umeå. They have shops we do not have, for example IKEA and Siba. There is one big sight at Sundsvall, and that is the Stone City (Stenstaden). After the Great Fire of 1888 the authorities decided to build the inner city in stone. A wise decision today, because the center has turned into a big attraction in itself. A giant shopping mall is the World House (Världshuset), which houses Norrland's biggest CD-shop.
