Schwäbisch Gmünd
The reason why we visited Schwäbisch Gmünd is a simple and perhaps amusing one: We wanted to see marvellous half-timbered houses, but we had mixed it up with Schwäbisch Hall, and therefore gone to the wrong place! We looked in vain for the nice houses that we had seen in a picture before we went to the city. However, there were certainly nice half-timbered houses in this city too, so all in all we were satisfied. We were also surprised to find H&M in such a small town, but just this now we discovered that over 61,000 people live there. Unexpectedly we found a nice altar in the town church, so enjoy the pictures.
