Potsdam is always on the itinerary when we go to Berlin, as we love Sanssouci. Also Dresden was part of the journey this year. Dresden has a special place in our hearts, as it was the first German city we visited in 2001. In later years we have started to include Marzahn, the suburb in the east where the arcitecture is grand.
Every time we walk Unter den Linden to take in the beautiful sights along the street. Our friend Stefan came to be with us for four days and when we wanted to take the turfzone DieMauer, we unexpectedly saw parts of the Berlin Wall around the Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer.
Always a favorite is the World Clock at Alexanderplatz.
