Lizette and I visited our friend Hans-Joachim Schintag in his home at Isenbüttel where we stayed for some nights before we went to Berlin all three of us. Magdeburg (No pictures from it), Braunschweig, the German Panzer Museum at Munster, Lüneburg, Potsdam, and Berlin were places we visited while being in Germany. Madame Tussaud's gave an insight in German history, as many bigwigs were at close hand. The Timeloberg was the place where the Germans surrendered to the English general Bernhard Montgomery, but the area was off limit as the German armed forces have their training grounds there, but we found a stone that said that the capitulation on 4 May 1945 took place in the vicinity.
