St Pauls

London 2020

This time not only Stefan went to London with us, but also Daniel from Luleå. The spring of 2020 was of course characterized by the Coronavirus, but when we went there it was not as big, as it would be only two weeks after we arrived home. Nevertheless, we loved London as always, even though there were not as many people at, let say, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, as there usually are.

Daniel had never been to London before, with the exception of a layover 20 years ago. We started March 1 with a walk from the Monument to St Paul's Cathedral. Before the service we admired the cherry trees outside the cathedral, as they were extremely beautiful.

During the week we walked in the parks and shopped a lot. We visited Greenwich and took a trip by boat to the central parts of London and some days later we took the Central Line to Theydon Bois as it was raining.

When we were in London we also learned that Luleå Hockey ended first in the Swedish Hockey League, but the playoffs were later canceled due to the Coronavirus. But we were happy in our hockey jerseys that day.

Since I am fascinated by flowers and greenery, especially at times when we do not have them in Sweden, Lizette took a photo of me standing among daffodils, and I love the photo.
