London is the most beautiful city in the world and we enjoy it immensely. It feels like we know every nook and cranny of it, at least in the downtown areas. This time was my 27th time to London and I do not seem to tire of it. London is close enough to Sweden and it only takes a little bit more than two hours to go there from Stockholm. The nicest things to do in London is walking in the parks, with Green Park and St James's Park being the best ones. We feel right at home there and can sit for hours in the parks and enjoy being in London.
Other highlights are riding the London buses and have lunch or dinner at Five Guys, the best hamburger restaurants in Europe. Our friend Stefan has for a long time said we must go to Stonehenge, and this journey it was time to do so. He and Lizette had never been there before, so we had a great time seeing it. The first time I was there was in 1996. We also went to Salisbury and Old Sarum, an Iron Age fortification with a ruin of a medieval castle. The Salisbury Cathedral was fantastic with one of four preserved copies of Magna Carta.
We also met our friend Marie, who participated in a convention, and from time to time met up with us for a walk or dinner.
